Prisma Cloud CWP - Deploy Host Defenders

Automation processes to install defenders for Windows or Linux instances with or without containers in AWS, Azure and GCP

Pre-Requisites

Permissions

In order for the automation processes to work in Prisma Cloud, you must create a Permissions Group with View and Update for the Defenders Management permission. While you are creating a Permissions Group, the Defenders Management and System permissions can be found under Assing Permissions > Compute > Manage as in the following image:

Permissions Group - Prisma Cloud

Once created this permissions group, you must create a role and then the belonging service account.

  1. PCC_URL: Prisma Cloud Compute URL. Can be obtained from the Prisma Cloud by going to Runtime Security > Manage > System > Utilities in the Path to the Console field.
  2. PCC_USER: is the Access Key of the Service account created.
  3. PCC_PASS: is the Secret Key of the Service account created.
  4. PCC_SAN: Console name. It can be obtained from the PCC_URL variable by extracting the Domain Name.
