Octopus is the main software in the Octopus project; an alternative to gnu coreutils, with more focus on end-user. this project plans to reach these:
- interactive mode for all commands
- backward computability
- many new features in old lovely tool
- not a static land but an actively growing field
- development with new programming langs like go and rust
- better emoji and text support
- friendly community
- desktop first
- Polaris stack compatibility (coming soon!)
