• Which LTS branch will we target with Jetpack 6?
  • New LTS branch Scarthgap coming in April
  • Plan we’ve discussed before was to target Scarthgap with Jetpack 6, keep Kirkstone as Jetpack 4 and 5.
  • Probably will be a while before deploying Jetpack 6 in production, should have time to do Scarthgap transition.
  • Likely will drop Dunfell branches from maintenance once this transition takes place.
  • If anyone really wants to stay on Kirkstone but bring in Jetpack 6 please speak up and volunteer to help with this.
  • Discussed about bringing Jetpack 5 into Scarthgap as 35.x branches, similar to what we are doing on Kirkstone, will tentatively plan to do this.
    • Kirkstone machine learning content is outdated, many people stranded on Jetpack 5 due to hardware limitations will likely want to use Scarthgap.
  • Will tentatively plan to take the current master support for 35.x onto the Scarthgap branch when the Scarthgap release is available.
• Swupdate example and open source home

  • Dan plans to retarget in tegra-demo-distro instead of attempting to host upstream, based on maintainer's feedback.
• Mender support for JP5 PR.

• Updates for Metropolis Microservices for Jetson

  • Interest for working group within openembedded to coordinate efforts on different platforms.
