Find the latest operating system ID and calibration IDs for any GM VIN -- You can put in your own VIN, or you can first do a web search for a year, model name, and the word "VIN" to find a sample VIN.

Implementing J1850 VPW on a PIC -- If you want to implement from the ground up for another microcontroller, this might be a good reference.

OBD2 PIDs and conversion information -- Because it helps with reverse engineering, and the next thing on the to-do list is a data logger.
