Still no database functionality in the code but the helper functions are there, so I can start implementing the actual database.

L2DB 0.1.0-pre-alpha

Finally switched to semantic versioning and made a standard (see SPEC.md) instead of just creating a giant, unstable mess of code that nobody except me would understand.
Note that this release has no really meaningful code in it, for the last functioning version use the code in v3. Note: v3 is NOT compatible with the spec and implementations following the spec will not necessarily be able to read databases created with v3!
