Community member here - I think this is a step in the right direction, but I think we should consider a clause about repeated offenses. The meme ban came in the first place so the group wouldn't be over crowded with tech memes, and sub groups exist for those. Once or twice and it's understandable (even frowned upon, as your PR suggests), but repeated offenses can be disruptive to the group and at a point do deserve disciplinary consequences (IMHO).

I was going to add that, but I didn't like that someone could argue someone was repeatedly doing something without verified proof. If there was a public ledger of who had many posts that needed to get deleted (where if it exceeded a threshold it would result in a ban, that would be reasonable in my book.

Perhaps the public ledger is - if it's your first offense, a mod comments saying they'll leave the post but clarify why it's not okay. If it happens again, they'll be able to reference your previous post as proof that you have now disregarded the rules?

Not bullet proof, but spurring discussion.
