Frequent updates ensure compatibility with the latest Twitch features, guaranteeing a seamless viewing experience. Don't miss another Twitch stream—try it today!

Installation

To get started, follow these steps to install the extension:

  1. Download the extension from the GitHub repository.
  2. Unzip the downloaded file.
  3. Open the Chrome browser and go to the extensions manager.
  4. Enable "Developer Mode" in the top right corner of the extensions manager.
  5. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the folder where you unzipped the extension.
  6. Once installed, you can browse Twitch for any saved video and use the video player provided by the extension to watch it.

Known Issues and Errors

While "Twplay" is designed to work with most saved Twitch broadcasts, there may be cases where it doesn't function as expected. The most common reason for this is the M3U8 file link, which can vary in content for different broadcasts or may be protected by rights restrictions. The development team is actively working to address these issues and improve compatibility.
