Document LAMBKIN extensively

Feature description

As plain as it sounds: we need extensive documentation on design, usage, and workflows for all packages and tools in LAMBKIN. #35 brings some, but it is not nearly enough. There should be a clear ramp up path for both users and developers.

Implementation considerations

Ideally, we'd want both online documentation while keeping sources readable (for text editors and Github's UI).
