The things you create in SHEBANQ, queries and notes, you can share and publish.

When you share, other people can see what you have shared, and link to it.

When you publish, likewise, but you will not be able to modify the things you have published.

A query has hard part and soft parts. The soft parts of a query is its description. You can still modify the description after publishing.

The hard parts are the query body and the result lists. Note that these come per version. When you publish a query, you only publish a specific version. After that, you can publish your query for other versions as well, and you can update your description to explain why you use a different query instruction for a different version, for example.

There are a few more constraints on publishing a query. The query must have been executed, and the execution of the query must have taken place after the last modification of the query instruction. If that is not the case, you cannot publish your query.

It is very tempting, if you want to share your results to somebody else, to copy the URL of SHEBANQ from your browser, and send it to somebody else.

This will almost never work!

See cite to obtain URLs that do work.
