I would like to use that tool in my institution

How to import the work session done on another machine?

You can either use the interface (menu "Session / export" and then menu "Session / import"), or copy the zip files that are located in the ~/.plm directory.

Another solution is copy your UUID on the machine on which you started your session, and create a user with the same UUID on the new machine. The PLM will automatically copy all your files at startup.

I guess that the computer just told you "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I cannot let you use that function" or something similar.
