@davidegironi This does only partially work. In case the used KiCAD verison does not have the IsDNP method, all footprints will be added, regardless if they are flagged do not populate.
I'll try to figure out if theres a way to get the flag on both versions ...

Ok, so I looked into the pcbnew module of KiCAD 7 and it seems that there's now way to find out if the DNP flag is set in the schematic 🤷🏽‍♂️

I'll merge your PR, as I will drop KiCAD 7 support anyway as soon as KiCAD 9 is out, probably in January 25

I know it's just a trick fix that will not completely work.
I'll move all my design to KiCad 8 or 9 in the next future.
