Releases: Abir-Tx/StudyFolderOrganizer
Release v2.0.0
Version 2.0.0 Stable
This is a stable release of the SFO tool (Study Folder Organizer). This is a much big release with so many new features and bug fixes.
About The Tool
Study Folder Organizer is a command line tool to organize the life of a student. This tool helps to make a well structured directory of folders using year>semester>terms pattern for each subject. Creating these folders and managing the files after the end of every semester takes a lot of time. That's why I created this tool.
The New Installer Solution in v2.0.0
With this release the tool will now be installed in the Program File x86 directory like other apps. This will enable -
- The users to pin it in the Start Menu & Task Bar
- The app will be shown in the App list of the Start Menu
- To use exclusive features like Deleting Folders, Viewing DIR Tree & many more.
- Easily manage the app from Control Panel
The installer has many more benefits along these. Without the installer, users may needed to run the app within a defined folder structure and download them as ZIP which was not a good idea of distributing the tool. I am very happy to announce the installer package with this release.
