Manipulator Work

Welcome to the OnshapeArm repository! This project focuses on the design and analysis of a 3-DOF (Degrees of Freedom) manipulator, intended for various robotics applications. The manipulator's CAD model was created using Onshape.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  1. Onshape: For accessing or modifying the CAD model.
    • Sign up at Onshape to view or edit the design.

Repository Structure

  • /part_files: Contains exported CAD files of the manipulator in .PART format.
  • /stl_files: Contains exported CAD files of the manipulator in .STL format.
  • robot.sdf: The Assembly of the CAD model, in SDF format.
  • robot.urdf: The Assembly of the CAD model, in URDF format.
  • README.md: This documentation.

CAD Model

The manipulator's CAD model was designed in Onshape with the following features:

  • Precision design for accurate analysis.
  • Modular components for easy upgrades or changes.

To access or edit the CAD model, request access to the Onshape project or use the exported files provided in the /stl_files directory.
