Welcome to the fishline wiki!

Fishline is a customizable and hackable prompt for the Fish shell, it has the particularity to only need fish to work.

It has been created as a replacement of Powerline-Shell as I wanted a Powerline style prompt made 100% in pure fish script. Fish script is awesome and has a lot of cool feature, like event based function call. It seemed to me that I could make something faster than Powerline-Shell with some fish script.

Fishline is now a reality and all of us, fish user, can add something to it. Create your own theme and share them here, add you own segment to the collection. All pull request are welcomed and will be reviewed as soon as possible.
