I'm on 14.8 but I get an error saying that it only works on ios 15 and later. Help! I am doing something wrong?

it's exactly what it sounds like. this does not support any iOS version before iOS 15.0 and after 16.1.2.

Having the same issue with iPhone 8 iOS 14.3 (Running the Taurine Jailbreak) with the AltStore 1.6.1 version installed.

Despite not starting clearly online that the minimum required iOS version is iOS 15 and not iOS 14, if you take the ipa file and extract it with Filza on iOS or winRAR or 7zip and take a look at the .plist file inside, it does in fact have iOS 15.0 in the minimum iOS version field.

I did try to change it to iOS 14.0 and repackage the payload folder into a new zip file like it was before and change the file extension to .ipa.
i was able to get it to install on my iPhone but it gave me an error message once I tapped on Go in the app.

The faq page (Macdirtycow AltStore faq) for this exploit doesn’t indicate any issues with iOS versions from 14.0-15.7.1.

Hoping that a fix is found soon or at least an update on the page changing the minimum iOS to be iOS 15 so that people having this issue can stop hoping it’s an just issue instead of a typo for the iOS versions supported

on iOS 14 MDC is extremely dangerous to use, especially when applying patches such as the installd patch since changes do not revert on reboot. This can cause a boot loop if something goes wrong
