Leaflet.draw adapter

Hi @w8r - I'm interested in contributing to this feature.
I suspect that if this plugin were able extend/integrate with Leaflet.Draw it would be very useful to a lot of people
e.g.

• has been an open request since 2013 in their repo
• pilot implementation in @jandm's fork https://github.com/jandm/Leaflet.draw
• various other attempts around the place, e.g.

I noticed that you have previously integrated one of your plugins Leaflet.Path.Drag with Leaflet.Draw which is encouraging.

Any tips or advice on where to start or other information would be much appreciated!
