I have some data that is saved with zones from the etcetera set from TZDB - Etc/GMT-14 through Etc/GMT+12
and they are failing lookup even though they are valid TZDB zones.
https://data.iana.org/time-zones/tzdb/etcetera

I'd be happy to submit a PR if anyone else is dealing with this.
