Hi,
Noob here. I just purchased a Sain Smart 3018 CNC machine. I bought it to create PCBs. I realize that autolevel is crucial for getting good results. This is why I downloaded BCNC. I created my design using Fusion 360 and then produced the G-Code.
I probe to get to the surface of the copper. Then If I set the origin(xyz=0) and run the G-Code, without autoleveling, the prints runs fine (except for leveling issues). When the print starts it raises the bit to a safe height then goes to the first cut location and then lowers and starts the cut. The problem I am having is.... When I do an autolevel I do the following:
Now, with autoleveling, when I run the g-code, the bit rises to a safe height then goes back down to the bed (z=0) . It proceeds to the first cut location and sometimes snaps the tip. When it gets to the first cut location it rises then goes back down to start cutting.
As I mentioned without autolevel: I run the g-code and the bit rises to a safe height then moves to the first cut and lowers to the bed and starts cutting.
I have no idea why the bit is going down to the bed before getting to the first cut location.
Any help would be appreciated. I attached my g-code file and the probe file in case that helps.
Thanks in advance.
Carmine
