How can I use the new Gemini models (e.g: gemini-1.5-flash-exp-0827) with @ai-sdk/google-vertex ?

Using

await streamUI({
    model: google('gemini-1.5-flash-exp-0827'),
    ...

works, but

await streamUI({
    model: vertex('gemini-1.5-flash-exp-0827'),
    ...

gives me

ClientError: [VertexAI.ClientError]: got status: 404 Not Found. {"error":{"code":404,"message":"Publisher Model `projects/xxx/locations/us-west1/publishers/google/models/gemini-1.5-flash-exp-0827` not found.","status":"NOT_FOUND"}}

I have project and location setup correctly as calling other models work. Just can't seem to figure out how to use those new experimental models.

Vertex doesn't support experimental models.

Looks like vertex now "supports" experimental models, or at least this one (8/27)

Note though that the QPM limit is only 10, and it can't be increased

FYI gemini-1.5-pro-002 and gemini-1.5-flash-002 are now promoted, no longer only on the experimental endpoints
