marking an incomplete submission as complete

What are you trying to do?

Our use case that happened several times: a form submission was incomplete, the user had trouble finishing the form. An admin was asked to help complete it, they could finish filling out the form in the control panel. But there is no way to then mark the submission as complete.

We'd like a way to mark a form submission as complete in the admin panel.

What's your proposed solution?

One possible solution: it shows incomplete status in the right hand sidebar when editing a post. That indicator could be a lightswitch instead.

Alternatively, or in addition, one could marke the submission as complete from the entry listing by selecting its checkbox, and then selecting an action.
