button click does not work

Hi,
I am using VanJS and I like it.
I have a problem and I would like to ask for some help.
I don't have a small reproducible example right now because I am not an expert with JS, but maybe you can give ideas about how to fix or where to read.
I have something like a "configurator" where I can dinamically add new elements to the DOM as the user requests, it is also nested as I can create an element and the element itself can create new elements as child.
The problem is that for some elements the onclick does not work, tipically the first created, but if I do document.getElementById(...).click() it works.
I have read a bit about the garbage collection done on VanJS and maybe this is the problem, but not still understand how to circumvent it.

Was not a VanJS issue, but was on my code
