tiny core linux support

I checked and this is not in the issues.

TCL ( Tiny Core Linux ) boots in 28 MB ram and is lean and fast.
Would love to get this working with UTM.

I was able to get it working on a m1 mac with this:

• New Virtual Machine
• Emulate
• Instead of linux hit Custom: Other button
• Download core or tinycore from here: http://tinycorelinux.net/downloads.html
• Architecture x86_64
• Memory 512mb
• Disk size 1gb
• Give the last screen a name like Tinycore Linux

Open up the settings for the machine

• Go the QEMU tab disable UEFI boot

After running:
Can install apps with this: https://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/doku.php?id=wiki:install_apps
To search for apps on command line - tce-ab
To install and load on boot tce-load -wi [app name]

I am wondering how to access the UTM shared-folder from a TinyCore VM on a Mac host? Any ideas or suggestions?

The UMT documentation states that with a Mac host VirtioFS is the way to go and virtiofs is already available in TinyCore. So far so good.

Within the UTM VM settings under 'Sharing' / 'Directory Sharing Mode' VirtioFS is not available..!!

I tried to set the "Directory Sharing Mode" to "VirtFS" but mounting the shared-folder within TinyCore does not work:

$ sudo mkdir -p /mnt/shared
$ sudo mount -t virtiofs shared-folder /mnt/shared
virtio-fs: tag <shared-folder> not found
mount: mounting shared-folder on /mnt/shared failed: Invalid argument

Here the documentation says that VirtioFS requires virtiofs drivers and is currently only supported by the Apple backend running Linux." Are the OSX drivers which I have to install?

Any ideas on what is missing and how to setup the shared folder within UTM for a Mac host and TinyCore guest system?
