Now that we have Discussions on GitHub, it seems to me that our Slack workspace https://embedio.slack.com has lost its appeal as a way of getting quick answers, or discuss development topics, without polluting Issues.
Moreover, Discussions are directly convertible to Issues when what starts as a simple question turns into a bug report or enhancement request. This actually happened a couple times and we had to copypaste Slack conversations, or parts of them, on GitHub. It was just sheer luck that no attachments were involved.
To add to the above, since we use Slack's free tier, only the last 10,000 messages are retained. Do you think that's a lot? We passed that limit sometime in 2021... or was it 2020?
Last but not least, Slack is now part of Salesforce, who is not exactly famous for free services. The free tier is still part of Slack's business model for now, but wait until some VP needs to flex their wallet-draining muscles...
Should we close embedio.slack.com and use the Discussions area instead?
