Description

I am running Windows Server 2022 and I decided to give the script a try because defender kept getting in my way and turning things back on. It wasn't perfectly clear to how to reverse everything, But I hit each "revert" one by one and hit run, selected them all and hit run, downloaded the script from just the website and tried to run it (but I can't since I get an error message I keep getting since using the script "[Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software." Nothing happens when I try and open Windows Security, it used to say something about my IT administrator but after try a few things nothing happens now. It seems to be completely trashed locked up and nothing I can do will change that. Off course I tried rebooting and many other things I found online.

How can the bug be recreated?

Perhaps by using the script on a computer running Windows Server 2022.

When do you get this error "Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software"? Is it after you click on the script file? Could you provide any screenshots/GIF?

You can try desktop application to run it. It creates the scripts and runs in a more robust way. If it fails to run, you can add exclusion to scripts folder, the error message will guide you. If you're unable to that, I can share more details how we can solve this after you tell how it went.
