The starter package does not build when run as is. I'm not sure if this is intentional and a part of the exercise.

An error message is received when trying to build and run the CloudStorageApplication.

Error message: "Service cannot be resolved to a type"

Fix:
Add the following line:

import org.springframework.stereotype.Service;
