Bug description
Hello,
I hope I am in the right place as I have a 2fas issue.
I tried discord but didn't receive any replies.
I use the 2fas chrome browser extension.
Firstly, the issue is that I don't always get the notification to my mobile phone.
I say "always", because if the phone is unlocked then I get the notification fine.
When I lock the phone, the notification will come through for around 2 minutes and then after apx 2 minutes, no notification.
I have a tablet that also has the app and this does receive the push notification when locked.
The phone does not have battery saver active or power saver.
The app allows all notifications.
The app allows mobile service.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
I have tried switching phone on and off.
I have tried clearing the cache
The phone is a galaxy s20
I also have a Samsung Tab s5 and the notifications come through fine when locked.
SInce the above I realised that the power cable was hooked up to the tablet but not the phone.
I removed the power cable from the tablet and stuck in the phone and locked both.
Left 2 minutes and then pushed the 2fas browser extension.
The notification came through to the phone but not the tablet.
If I unlock the phone or tablet after not receiving the notification then it pings and shows the notification.
The notifications are set on the app.
All other apps show and sound the notifications when the phone is locked. (whatsapp, telegram, text messages etc etc)
If it were just one device then I would say it was me, but as two exhibiting the same behaviour but it could be me that's not set something correctly otherwise there would be lots of reports, I assume.
Any help is appreciated.
Kind regards Simon
