Blur effect not working #425

i copy pasted the example, with valid images but blur effect is not working. So lazyload will load few bytes of the image and show blurred until its on a view port right? Am i understanding this correct? or the placeholder image i have to upload the blurred version?

Placeholder image should be a small thumbnail. When the thumbnail is upscaled it create the blur effect. See for example:

Where the placeholder image is:

The original image is:

https://appelsiini.net/img/m5stack-fire1-1400.jpg
