Problems sending commands to terminal under macOS Ventura

Hi all, may be I am struggling with an absolute beginners problem. So bear with me. I am trying to open an ssh session and execute within this ssh session at least one command. The following very simple bunch executes without error messages, but simply opens a terminal window, but nothing else happens.

Has anybody a hint for me on how to proceed/debug?
