Header Anchors Not Working That Contain Periods #193

Trying to use for a changelog where the headers are:

Version 1.10.6

Version 1.10.5

...
etc

The anchors are correctly created with the stripped special characters (#version1106) and (#version1105) but the links are broken and do not work.
