What you are seeing is "font tracing", that is enabled by the roboto packge. Normally such "useless" output would get lost in the big amount of output LaTeX run emits on a console. Tectonic is usually pretty good at filtering it, but this case escapes due to the "tracing" nature (usually these things really are "warnings"). The "warnings" in this case are totally harmless, though you would usually only enable such "tracing" only if you actually had problems.

Bob Tennent, author of the roboto package has kindly removed the setting which enables this tracing in roboto and his other font packages (see #924). This update should get to Tectonic as it upgrades its bundle to TeX Live 2023.
