you can use any terminal based machine with cron job functionality
also as heroku isnt free anymore it won't help
anyway you can try the same cron job technique on GitHub actions ( Not sure if it is considered as abuse though)

it would be nice to have it in sw itself otherwise it's not a much hard task to implement in client side too
