There are some postal codes were the latitude and longitude that are estimated from postal codes that are shown in sea and also instances were the postal code is shown in another city.Following are sample postal codes where this is happening
Pincode latitude longitude
400069 18.9596 72.8604
400079 18.9596 72.88815
400054 18.9292 72.8856
395003 21.2659 72.55363636
395005 21.2218 72.28558182
395001 21.1941 72.5018

Thanks @omiswami ! What country is this data for?

We rely on Geonames for the data provider which does seem to sometimes provide incorrect information (cf also #13). Reporting it to Geonames could be one approach, but that takes times and they don't have a clear mechanism for it.

Alternatively we could implement some API for manually fixing/overwriting the incorrect data points.
