The Linux convenience script is a great start and makes it much easier to set up the server, but I think we should go the full way and make it do the full automated installation.
It would require a few prompts for what is needed in the CLI installation, and beyond that it would just need to set up the cron job (it can use the operator's email address for cron alerts).
I would then be happy to fully document how to do a manual installation on the various supported distributions, which would include the full steps for setting up LAMP should they be needed.
