I was playing with DiffusionBee and generated some images. Went to upload one as a cover image and it fails with a 400: Bad Request.

  • Open the Settings page
  • Select a cover photo from my Desktop
  • Click upload
  • After a little moment it fails and an error appears in the bottom left

Image I tried uploading is a PNG, 736KB, file comment is the prompt used to create the image (included).

  • OS: macOS 12.6
  • Browser: Safari 16.0 (17614.1.25.9.10, 17614)
  • Version: 1.13.1

The cover image in question:

I tried uploading the same image using jellytime and failed there as well. The reason was: "Cover image ratio is not compatible" so maybe this is on me?

Just that the API expects the cover image to be more wide than tall. I'd have to look up the ratio. So an app should detect the image trying to be used and either allow you to crop it or force a crop, or reject your image before trying to upload it.

Feature request for Beta: reject images too tall.

Would be nice to have a cropping tool in the app.
