For anyone that runs into this situation, with the Storybook 8.1 release, the Subtitle Doc Block was refactored a bit, and the componentSubtitle was deprecated in favor of subtitle. You can check the migration notes here. And based on this, you brought up a nice point. Since documentation and the associated pieces (e.g., Doc Blocks) are an essential part of Storybook's API, the documentation should reflect that and not only focus on the Essential addons and the Storybook's own parameters but also this and other ones associated to documentation, to at least surface them a bit and avoid situations as you and potentially other users may run into.
