I'm a musician, composer, amateur coder, and lifelong lover of Dungeons and Dragons. I created Eigengrau's Essential Establishment Generator because too many times I've found myself struggling to make up a tavern's name, let alone populate it with interesting, memorable characters and descriptions. This quickly snowballed into the Generator that you see today; a fully immersive procedural generator that produces whole towns, complete with streets, racial demographics, taverns, all bundled up into something that's ready out of the box to read to your players!

This is my solution; a generator which produces a town (with a consistent narrative; taverns that are cleaner will give you better sleep, blacksmiths that are better will be pricier, and not all alchemists will have everything- what does a hamlet need Greater Potions of Healing for?) with NPCs, and other fun bits and pieces which you can click through as players ask for more tidbits.
