Running with laravel-permission and LDAP Record gives error "The LDAP connection [mysql] does not exist." when deleting role/permission

Im a novice poster here, I really like this package and have been using it in a web application project for my Internship.

Requirements for the project is that users are authenticated via LDAP, using LDAP RECORD. Problem is, when using detatch or delete for roles and permissions I get, The LDAP connection [mysql] does not exist.

Here is my delete function:

Things I have tried: Disabling LDAP which did fix the problem but as stated.. LDAP is quite necessary,

I solved this create my on Role and Permission model class, then i put this method bellow:

@rmeira - I am currently experiencing the exact same issue. Are you able to expand on your answer? Potentially supply a bigger code snipped to help me follow along with your fix. I am very new to laravel and any additional information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
