Saving Multiple Instances of Same For per User? #17
Comments
Interesting, you mean like a dropdown with all the "savepoints" available for the user on the current form along with their save dates and perhaps a field for the save name so users can quickly find a checkpoint they need right now. Probably would only have to work with actual form submissions and keep the last say 20 submissions. Interesting. While I don't think I'll add this anytime soon, you might simulate the feature by creating duplicates of your form for each distinct "form application" instance, perhaps. That way users may pick the page with the form they want. Like give them four pages with the same forms (different form IDs) in each one and let them consider them as slots they can fill and return back to. The addition of the "save after submit" feature (7173cb1) will make sure their data is saved even after submitting. I know it's not an ideal solution, but you'll probably have to wait quite a bit until enough people request this feature for me to think about implementing it in my own time (or someone happens to sponsor its developement). I'll leave it open as a feature request. Thanks for your time and ideas. |
Here here! Anyway - amazing work with this add on! |
Saving multiple forms would be a great feature. I would like to use for multiple entries to a contest that has a very long submission form. |
Great addon. Seems like its setup to save only a single instance of a form per user. Have you considered supporting saving multiple form instances (of the same form) per user? The use case is a long form that is reused often to enter distinct "form application" instances. Thank you.
