support AggregatedIssue.Paths to reflect the current API as path data was lost with deprecation of issues

Is the advice in the meanwhile to not use pysnyk and just use plain HTTP API calls?

Try the low level client in the meantime https://github.com/snyk-labs/pysnyk#low-level-client
