When the original post is not bridged, its replies are also not bridged.
I prefer threading my posts in reply trees, which is how I currently organize them, and since there are already many posts connected to the original reply target, I’d like to avoid creating a new reply target. Would it be possible to bridge new self-replies even if the original post is not bridged?

Bridge Self-Replies When the Original Post Is Not Bridged

Interesting use case! And not one I'm very familiar with. I'm still reluctant to bridge replies to original posts that weren't bridged, even self-replies, but I'm happy to leave this open to track.
