I believe this could be an extension of the ability the software already has to highlight resin traps.
The software could scan for the layer that would be responsible for sealing up the resin trap, and then programmatically lift the Z out of the resin reservoir, and hold there for 20-30s to allow the otherwise trapped resin to flow out of the cavity.
Additionally, a further feature could be to blast UV in that cavity (an offset inset) of the outer perimeter of that otherwise 'wet' inner area, to help cure the inner are that was just drained.

[FEATURE REQUEST] Lift Xmm To Clear Resin Traps, Before Sealing The Area
[FEATURE REQUEST] Lift 40mm To, and Hold for 30s, Clear Resin Traps, Before Sealing The Area
Sep 21, 2024
As I understand you want to keep the resin traps but run an extra routine before seal?
I don't see this as good idea, even if you drain the cavity with the lift and wait, walls will always be wet, UVLED can't go very deep to cure inner model. Then when you lower the model to seal the cavity depending on your resin tank fill level you will flood the cavity again by a margin of the tank level, in other words you will end with uncured resin inside the trap, no matter what you do before the seal.
Even if the tank is near empty you will get some drops of resin inside.
Is your feature request related to a problem?
