Contributing to GitHub Package Manager

👍🎉 First off, thanks for taking the time to contribute! 🎉👍

The following is a set of guidelines for contributing to GitHub Package Manager, which is split into two repositories:

Bug Reports

We welcome all bug reports! Please ensure that you've included steps to reproduce the bug, as well as any error messages you may have received. Screenshots and videos are also helpful.

To submit a bug report, please open an issue in the GitHub-Package-Manager-OPENSOURCE repository. Make sure to provide a clear and concise title, and include as much information as possible in the description.

Feature Requests

We welcome suggestions for new features and improvements! To submit a feature request, please open an issue in the GitHub-Package-Manager-OPENSOURCE repository. Make sure to provide a clear and concise title, and include as much information as possible in the description. If the feature request is approved, it will be added to the development roadmap.

Pull Requests

We welcome pull requests from the community! If you'd like to contribute code to GitHub Package Manager, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Fork the GitHub-Package-Manager repository
  2. Create a new branch for your changes
  3. Make your changes, and test them thoroughly
  4. Submit a pull request to the GitHub-Package-Manager repository

Please ensure that your code follows the coding standards used throughout the project, and that any new code is thoroughly tested. Also, make sure to include a clear and concise description of your changes in your pull request.

If your changes are accepted, they will be implemented in the next closed-source version as well.
