Turns out TI-83 assembly in 28 days is terribly wrong with the section on interrupts, I do have to write the 257 bytes to work with immediate mode 2.

VARIABLE INTERRUPT-HANDLER
: SET-INTERRUPT INTERRUPT-HANDLER ! ;
