• CNCF sandbox
  • @qu1queee opened pull request for roadmap and adopters
  • Feedback incorporated into HackMD draft, plan to submit next week.
• cdCon NA 2024. CFP due January 14th. Conference is in Seattle, WA, USA April 16-18; speakers must attend in person, and the Linux Foundation has very limited funding for travel support.
• Planning for next release cycle (v0.13.0):
  • Build: make v1beta1 the default API (controllers reconcile, v1beta1 is stored version). See [BETA API] Update controllers to use Beta API build#1107
  • Triggers: cut a first release!
  • Operator
    • Include triggers?
    • Deploy version migrator job, at least for Build, BuildStrategy, and ClusterBuildStrategy CRDs.
    • Cleanup of old artifacts to reach "Level II" operator capability. See [FEATURE] Handle deletion of roles for webhook deployment operator#181
  • cli: need to change arguments/flags to be less bound to the backend API? @adambkaplan to file issue on CLI for further discussion.
• cdCon Tokyo (from @adambkaplan):
  • A lot of critical/embedded software built in Japan. Software supply chain is important.
  • Need to "shift left" SBOM generation. Shipwright can help here!
