Have you read the Tutorials?
yes

Have you read the FAQ and checked for duplicate open issues?
yes, previous desync issues were noted with HLS streams, but it's unclear if this problem has been resolved in newer versions or for DASH streams.

What version of Shaka Player are you using?
4.8.5 web
4.3.5 smart Tv

What browser and OS are you using?
the issue is in every platform

Please ask your question
Issue: Audio and video desynchronization in long live sessions (around 1h 30m) on both web and smart TV platforms.
The stream utilizes DASH and Google's Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) technology.
It appears that synchronization shifts after each server-side ad is played.
Questions:

  1. Are there any configurations we can adjust to resolve this desynchronization issue?
  2. Could the growing desynchronization be linked to each ad playback?
  3. Any debugging suggestions would be appreciated, as verbose logs don't seem to highlight any differences.
  4. If this is potentially a shaka bug, should we create a demo with the old shaka version to help illustrate the issue?

I've sent the manifest to [email protected]

Thanks
