This project (seanpm2001/KhanAcademyData_u-Seanwallawallaofficial) contains 2 segments: Khan Academy sandbox source code, and documentation + images.
I am required legally to license the source code under the MIT license, due to how it was licensed on Khan Academy. I am aware of the problems with the MIT license, which is why I am trying my best to separate the 2 segments from each other.
My goal is to use the MIT license as infrequently as possible, and the GNU General Public License 3.0 as much as possible. The MIT license is too weak, and grants too much power to corporations, which can result in a hostile takeover, which also is one of the top sources of open source development burnout. I don't care too much what happens to my old project data, so it isn't much of a loss to see it get taken over. I still retain ownership rights.
