I tried reducing icon size to the smallest setting using the slider, hoping that it would change to a list view with column sorting, but no luck.

Is this something you can add?

ALso, using with an android 7.1 device, I can send a simple small jpg file by dragging it to the menu bar and selecting the device, but on the phone the notification says the transfer failed. I checked all permissions and they seem ok.

The phone is obviously receiving the file transfer request, but doesn't accept the file.

Thanks for keeping this alive.

I actually have to dig into it to see if I can do something about it. Can't really make any promises rn if I can do it unless I actually check it out.

The first thing that actually comes to my mind is if this is somehow related to the second point that the README says about Soduto's Limitations. I'll quote that here:

On Android 11 and higher, you may not be able to add the root location of your Internal Storage or your Download folder to KDE Connect's Filesystem expose locations due to Google's privacy changes.

I think you should try to change the location where Soduto saves files to some other folder that isn't in the root location or inside the Download directory. Maybe try creating a seperate folder called Soduto Share or something else and change the location to that?

i'll try tonight on a few devices with adding the save location.

also, i noticed a new bug... the notifications I get on macOS when an SMS comes in on my phone always shows a combination of like 4 old messages from weeks ago, all back to back.

they never show the actual incoming message because the "queue" of messages displayed in the notification are backed up.

is this a common bug?

the only thing it's useful for is letting me know a message came in, but it doesn't actually display the text of the latest message.

is there some soduto setting or some cache i need to purge or something?
