Keep Track of what issue tickets you file and what pull requests you make with ticket numbers

We plan to do these things:

• fix normal form (15 hours)

  • this has been pushed for review
  • Fixes Normal Form fails with single variable polynomials #38012

• reduced form timeouts (10 hours)

  • Not able to reproduce

• map types (50 hours)

  • is_lattes
    -function already exists (Fixes Implemented is_chebyshev and is_lattes for one dimensional projective dynamical systems #28292), find Elliptic Curve, Lattes_to_curve now exists at Lattes to curve function code commits for enhancement #38329  #38330

  • is_newton
    -base function already exists at Implement is_newton for dynamical systems #28173, find polynomial, now exists at Newton to poly function for enhancement #38393 #38396

The remaining work after is_newton is not complete as of 8/26/24, I hope to come back during the semester to get at least is_chebyshev done.

• is_chebyshev
  -function already exists (Fixes Implemented is_chebyshev and is_lattes for one dimensional projective dynamical systems #28292)

         -return conjugation
  

• interpolation (20 hours)

• attracting periodic points (40 hours)

           - given a map find all points of period n that are (attracting, repelling, indifferent)
  
           - given a periodic point, return if it is attracting, repelling, indifferent.
  

• close issues and fix bugs (40 hours)
