hi, thanks for opening this issue. can you please verify this behaviour once with google sheets too? i dont have a local copy of excel to verify this, but i can see style like border/color are copied from google sheets without issues. including a demo video would be very helpful.
the issue occurs also in google sheets, the issue is when copy to google sheet no when copy from. the background are not copied. also the ward wrap and rotate
ah i misunderstood your statement. i had verified that formatting is pasted from google to fortunesheet, and not vice versa.
i am keeping this issue open, but this would be more of a new feature request and would require some investigation into how google sheets expects the pasted text to be, in addition to testing this on excel too. might be interesting to study how pasting works between google and excel. would you be willing to contribute to the codebase?
When copy data from the sheet and past in excel the copied data include just the test and not include the styling
For example if has color background the colored is lost
or if has border to copied cell the border not copied
in the revers direction it's work (if copied from excel to fortune-sheet)
