v1.3 – Refactoring and internal improvments
This release mostly focuses on internal code improvements.
Thanks to many new contributors several things could be adjusted, too. For instance @omurturan translated the add-on into Turkish and @xlomonosvx added the new nice “quiet zone” option.
Also note that this release bumps the lowest supported version to Firefox 60.
All notable changes
- Featured: You can now set the empty border squares around a QR code (the so-called “quiet zone”).
- New: Unit tests have been added.
- New: Access keys for easier menu selection with keyboard in Firefox >= 64 are now supported.
- New: In reader mode the URL is not shown as
about:reader
anymore, but properly converted to the “original” URL. - Improved: Many internal features/modules have been refactored to improve code quality.
- Improved: The code has been restructured with better modularization.
- Improved: Accessibility of messages has been improved.
- Internal: Firefox 60 is now the oldest supported version.
- Fixed: Mostly due to the refactoring some minor issues have been fixed.
- Translation: Turkish translation added.
